War has come again to Avacal. Are you ready?
The Barony of
Borealis would like to invite one and all to join the populace of Avacal for Quad
War. Castle scenarios, field battles and tournaments for both heavy and rapier
will run through the weekend. If you are not interested in fighting, target
archery, children’s activities, equestrian, Arts & Sciences competitions,
bardic, THUA courses and more will be available to keep you busy. If you want
to relax, just come, shop Merchants Row and keep company with old and new
friends.
Whatever your
interests, Quad War is the place to play.
Date: The event opens noon
Thursday July 30st (9:00 A.M. for merchants) and
closes at noon on Monday August 3rd
There is no
street address for this private site near Marsden, SK.
Driving Directions:
From the North, South West and Southwest - make your best route to Wainwright,
AB. Go East on Hwy 14 (become Hwy 40 at the Saskatchewan border). Drive 8 Km
past and turn North (left) on Artland Road. The
site is 4.5 km to the West (left).
From the East
and Southeast - make your best route to Saskatoon SK. Take Hwy 16 to North Battleford. As you cross the bridge, stay to the left on
Hwy 40. It will turn west(right) midway through
town. 5 km west of (past) Marsden, turn North
(right) on Artland Road. The site is 4.5 km to
the west.
Site Fee:
$25.00 per person 18 and over (add $3.00 NMS). 17 and under FREE. Please make cheques payable to ASCA Barony of Borealis.
