Armoured Combat

Thursday
7:00 to 8:00 Heavy combat Shield and dagger Tournament, singe elimination. Erics.

Friday
6:00 Field marshals meeting for all who will be assisting over the war. Troll (my camp).
7:00 to 8:00 Youth combat Tournament Merchants row erik. 1 War point.
8:00 till it ends, Heavy combat Tournament, Valhalla.

Saturday
10:30-12:00 Youth combat, fighters for the future class/war games. Warfield.
An opportunity for the fighters of Avacal to come out and teach youth combat fighters new skills and techniques and help guide Avacals future. Young fighters to get to fight some war scenarios. (Numbers permitting)
11:30-12:30 Armored combat inspections. Prince's army at the castle. Tanist's army at the erics.
12:30- 1:00 Review of rules and safety guidelines. Castle (Princes army) and eriks (Tanist army).
1:00- 5:00 WAR!!!!!!!

Sunday
11:30-12:30 Armor inspection. Castle
12:30- 1:00 Review of rules and safety guidelines. Castle
1:00- ??? WAR!!!!!!!

Armored War Points: All battles include archers unless specified. There will be between 5 to 10 minutes between battles. 6 points.

1. Tanist's march. The Tanist and his army march from the eriks to the Warfield to challenge the Prince. May take any route He wants, and may be ambushed along the way. (Many extra marshals will be required to ensure safety of the populace. Volunteers will be recruited from both armies.) 2 points for reaching the castle and defeating the Princes army, or defeating the Tanist's army before it makes it to the castle. 1 point each for a siege of the castle. No archery until the castle is under siege.

2. Field battle, open field, best 2 out of 3, 1 point. ( Saturday)Each army clashes and out maneuvers each other on an open field.

3. Bridge Battle, full field. Best 2 out of 3, 1 war point( Saturday)
Each army starts on a hilltop, the center of the valley has a bridge for carts, and a second small foot bridge. The creek is shallow enough for Royalty and Chivalry to cross on their knees (mounted), anyone else is swept away by the current.

[Water Break] 4. Castle battles. Each army defends once, attackers get 1 resurrection. Hold the castle, 1 point; take the castle, 1 point. (Saturday)
The castle will have a moat and 2 bridges, the first bridge will be wide and to the main gate, the second bridge will be singe file to the sally port. The moat is lined with sharpened stakes and is death to all that enter. Sally port opens at the 5 min mark.

5. Bragging rights. Back to a traditional Quad war that sees our Baronies, and Prince square off. Borealis, Myrgan Wood, Montenguard, Prince and Tanist, with shires, and honored guests battle for bragging rights in this 4 army scenario. ( Saturday) War point awarded to the winning army, who shall then split their forces into Prince/Tanist groups and fight it out to decide who to give the point to.

Fun scenarios. Will take place in any order. All days listed are pending how time is looking.

1. Peasants revolt. Knights and squires defend the castle against all. Attackers get a total of 50 resurrections. (Saturday)
2. Reclaim the fort. The peasants have revolted, and taken a fort! The King has sent forth his knights and squires to reclaim his fort. Castle battle. Defenders get 1 resurrection each (Saturday)
3. Grand Melee. Just a fun warm up. No archery. (Sunday)
4. Households. Each house to stand as an army, each defeated house joins your ranks. (Sunday)
5. Side swap resurrection battle. Open field with bridges (no crossing river) When you die you report to the opponents res point. When there are 5 fighters there you join that team (Sunday)
6. Two man. Each combat archer and sheildman team is alone on a hostile field. Every time they defeat another group the defeated group joins their army until there is only one army left, under their command. (Sunday)
7. Rescue the damsel, groups of 10 fighters battle each other in an attempt to rescue the "damsel" and return her to her castle. Gauntlets required for carrying the Damsel. This is a resurrection battle. (Saturday)
8. Other scenarios, and order at combatants choosing on Sunday.

Pick up fights in front of the castle. Fighters a required to find their own marshal, and must have one.

As MIC, I feel it is my responsibility to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, as well as doing everything I can to make this the most enjoyable Quad war to date. I need volunteers to assist with marshaling and armor inspections, castle and grounds inspections, set up and take down of the scenarios, and lists.
