Quad War - What a way to play!!

Gather in the heart of Avacal when the war drums sound the call to arms! 

Join the forces of the Coronet and their Heirs as they meet as dreaded foes and dear friends in battle!

There will be activities for everyone - War and Castle scenarios for Armoured and Rapier, Tournaments for all martial activities, Target Archery, Populace shoot, Children's activities, Bardic delights, Classes for all, Siege Cooking, Arts and Sciences competitions, Merchants and more!

Come and enjoy Avacal's famous hospitality!

Event opens six p.m. Thursday July 31st (noon for merchants) and closes at noon on Monday August 4th

Site Fee:  Site Fee: $25.00 per person 18 and over (add $3.00 NMS). 17 and under FREE. Cheques payable to MSCA.   Please bring your own drinking water - the local water is not potable.

Driving Directions: From the North, South West and Southwest - make your best route to Wainwright AB. Go East on Hwy 14 (become Hwy 40 at the Saskatchewan border). Drive 8 Km past and turn North (left) on Artland Road.  The site is 4.5 km to the West (left).

From the East and Southeast - make your best route to Saskatoon SK. Take Hwy 16 to North Battleford. As you cross the bridge, stay to the left on Hwy 40.  It will turn west (right) midway through town.  5 km west of (past) Marsden, turn North (right) on Artland Road.  The site is 4.5 km to the west.

Please be aware that Quad War is scheduled opposite the Big Valley Jamboree, Canada's major country music festival that will result in road closures, detours and delays while travelling through the City of Camrose to the Quad War site.  This music festival is growing every year and pulls in very large numbers.  As the BVJ website states, to host the Big Valley Jamboree, the City of Camrose has to essentially duplicate their essential services which results in detours and road closures.

When planning your trip to Quad War, please plan ahead for delays and road closures due to this very popular music event.  Thank you!
